There are 4 different embossing styles available:

BLIND EMBOSSED TESTER BLOTTERS® are the most popular embossed strips; Using blind embossing can enhance a brand yet still keep the Tester Blotter looking clean. The brand stands out because of the raised 3D effect and giving a premium quality feel.
DEBOSSED TESTER BLOTTERS® use the same technique as Blind Embossed Strips to create an indentation (the embossed image is below the board surface, ie debossed), gives a very contemporary, modern appearance.
THERMOGRAPHED TESTER BLOTTERS® have raised printed images similar to blind embossed Tester Blotters but the end result is a textured, high gloss finish. This is achieved by sprinkling powdered resin onto wet ink during the printing process, then heat-fusing it onto the strip. Longer lead times are required, as we recommend machine proofs are require to test that there is no cross contamination from the resin and your scent.
FOIL EMBOSSED TESTER BLOTTERS®, these are the premium embossed option and provide a unique, high quality sophisticated, decorative appearance. Longer lead times are required, as we recommend machine proofs are require to test that there is no cross contamination from the foil metal and your scent.
